About Me: As natives of Maryland, my husband and I are inspired and committed to leveling the playing field and lifting others to improve the Greater Washington Region. As a co-chair of the Together, We Prosper campaign, I bring over 30 years of marketing, fundraising, event planning, and communications experience for for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
Why I Joined the Together, We Prosper Campaign: Much of my family’s philanthropy is serving MD and DC. We work through the Greater Washington Community Foundation because—after over 50 years of service— they are leaders in community listening and inclusion and are equipped to deploy resources where needed most. We created an endowment fund as something we decided to do that will live on through our children and future generations.
Why you should get involved with the campaign: The options and avenues available to pour back into the community are endless. What sets the Together, We Prosper Campaign apart is its strategic focus and uniquely bold efforts to endow Greater Washington and close the racial wealth gap in our region. The campaign focuses on direct service and prioritizes sustainability so that our efforts today evolve and grow with generations to come.
